So, Charley McCain, Howlin’ Hottie Jill and I went to do a little Halloween costume shopping today over at Brenda’s Costume Shop. Wow. There was everything you could ever imagine to try on. Let loose three women in a costume shop, and this is what happens:

Friday night, I was unfortunately hit head on in a car accident at the Bridford/Wendover intersection. I’m not really sure how it happened, but about 30 seconds before I got to that stop light, something told me to put on my seatbelt that I had neglected to put on when I got into the car. I am thanking my lucky stars that I did so, or else a sore back might not be the only thing wrong today. Saying a little prayer for the woman who hit me and all the others involved in the mishap.

So excited it is OFFICIALLY Fall!! This is my favorite time of year. Going to Western Carolina University in the mountains made me so appreciative of this season. Not to mention, it’s about time to break out the boots and scarves! Yes, you caught me. The real reason I love this time of year: the clothes.

What a sad day. I think my heart is breaking a bit today for the loss of Patrick Swayze.. along with every other woman in the world who could recite every line of “Dirty Dancing” from start to finish.

Great crowd at the Walmart in Burlington for Chris Young’s performance. He performed 4 or 5 songs, shook hands, autographed and took pictures with everyone who came.. how cool is that?!
